Congrats to Calvin McBride!  Calvin won the first IFAA Meat Goat Scholarship at the 2011 Iowa State Fair.  This scholarship was sponsored by the IMGA.

 The first Iowa Meat Goat Association Queen is  Stephanie Haines of Grinnell, Iowa.  Stephanie is the daughter of Rick and Cathy Van Wyhe (and the late DJ Haines).  She is in her second year of post high school studies at Grinnell College where she is a Political Science major.  Pictures are posted below to enlarge just click on the picture.

We had 4 beautiful contestants competing for the title -- thank you to all of the contestants and families!

New membership forms will be mailed out with the 4th Quarter Newsletter in mid-December 2011!  Membership is due 02/15/12 for voting rights.

If you have not completed the Survey located on Survey Monkey-- please do so as the Board will be meeting January 15th -- we want your input so we can plan the years events.
