Biography for Rosemarie Shepard

Hi, My name is Rose Shepard I have been married to my husband James
for 30 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters Carroyl and Nichole. We
live in Lynnville just a few miles from where we were both raised. We
started raising Boer goats in 2007 concentrating on the show side of
things since we only have a small acreage and just didn’t have the
space for a commercial herd.   We immediately joined IMGA, ABGA and
last year became members of the Tall Corn group.
     We got started in goats the same way a lot of folks do. We bought
a couple goats for our daughters to show at 4H and FFA. The girls have
moved on to college and their busy lives, but it was too late James
and I were hooked. We started really traveling around to shows all
over the Midwest and even bought a bigger place we now have 12 acres
with lots of buildings. Still no house on it but we all know the goats
come first.
